Threading Systems

Whirling
Thread whirling is a fast and accurate method of producing long threaded parts on a Swiss-type machine. By employing more cutting teeth, the GenSwiss/ multidec UTILIS whirling system greatly enhances productivity by allowing increased speeds and feeds while maintaining rigid finish qualities required by the medical implant industry.

Thread Milling
In thread milling, the thread is produced by helical interpolation. The cutting process enables threads with one or two teeth to be obtained with a nominal diameter of 1 mm or more.

Rolling Heads
For standardized or special threads - from cylindrical and tapered trinagular threads, through trapezoidal, round and semi-round threads to cylindrical wood threads and even buttress threads - can be rolled.
